At Varna Archeological Museum located is the oldest gold treasure in the world. Its age dates back to 4000 years BC. The find is of about 2000 items of almost pure 23,5 carats gold with total weight of about 5,5 kg. It consists of golden necklaces, bracelets, chest decorations and pots.
