November 07, 2018 – January 27, 2019 – in the National Archaeological Museum
The exhibition is organized by the National Archaeological Institute with Museum - BAS in cooperation wit
h the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria. Its aim is not only to present impressive finds recovered from
illegal trafficking thanks to successful police operations but also to draw attention to a very serious problem – the systematic destruction of Bulgaria’s rich cultural and historical heritage by treasure hunters and the need for effective actions against it.The exhibition includes very interesting and valuable objects of NAIM and 18 other Bulgarian museums (co-organizers) from Prehistory, Antiquity and the Middle Ages.
